Lindsay & Kano

Buckle up because this one is a great story. Lindsay, the bride, and I met on a plane. A PLANE! I sat across the aisle from her and her sweet twins. We sat and chatted while the twins made cute little faces at me and I did my best to help entertain them. I had NO IDEA that Lindsay was just starting to plan her dream wedding. She jotted down my instagram name to follow my work and I didn’t even realize she had! Fast forward a few months, Lindsay reached out to me via Instagram asking if I would fly out to Olympia, WA to photograph her wedding day and BOY AM I GLAD I SAID YES. Talk about the DREAMIST boho wedding in Washington state. Fun fact, she is from where I grew up! So it was nice to be able to also see family while I was there.

How adorable are their twins?

Bride and Groom First Look

The first thing we did when we got to their venue was capture their first look. It was definitely an emotional moment for this bride and groom.

Of course we had to snap some photos of the whole family.

Bride holding her puppy. Bridesmaids Photos. Ring Bearer Photos.

We snapped some photos with the ADORABLE ring bearers and the bride holding her sweet puppy. The photos of the bridesmaids in their jean jackets were super popular on our instagram! www.instagram.com/sonderphotoandfilm

One thing that TOTALLY set this wedding apart was the details. This bride put so much thought into her wedding decor, wedding favors and everything about their wedding day. It is always a photographer’s paradise when we show up to weddings like this.

Wedding Day Details. Boho Wedding decor.

Can we stop and drool for a minute over the details? We are obsessed with everything this family did for their wedding day. Oh and how cute are those ring bearers?!

First dances at wedding

After their formal photos we went into some emotional first dances.

Wedding speeches.

Their friends and family gave some beautiful speeches including an adorable poem by the maid of honor. Check out our wedding film link at the end of this blog to hear the poem. It was adorable.

Bride and Groom dance with their babies

Of course your wedding isn’t complete without hitting the dance floor with your sweet babies.

Friends and family photos at wedding in Washington state

Friends and family came from all over the states so we took some time to get some great photos with their guests.

We ended the night with lots of fun dancing. Thank you so much Lindsay and Kano for choosing us to capture your wedding day.
